The short version: your bookmarks and ideas are yours. We never sell your data, we never train AI models on it, and you can delete everything at any time.
What we collect
- Your account email and basic profile (name, avatar) for sign-in.
- The X bookmarks you choose to sync — their text, author, links, and the time you saved them.
- Ideas, notes, progress, and chats you create inside IdeaCoach.
- Minimal, privacy-respecting usage metrics to keep the product working.
How we use it
We use your bookmarks solely to provide the service to you: categorizing, summarizing, generating ideas, powering chat, and sending the digest you opt into. Your content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) only to generate your results, under agreements that prohibit training on your data.
Local-first where it counts
The Chrome extension reads your bookmarks directly in your own browser session — we never ask for your X password and don't store your X credentials. Only the bookmark content you sync leaves your device, and only to your private account.
What we will never do
- Sell or rent your personal data to anyone. Ever.
- Use your private content to train machine-learning models.
- Share your bookmarks or ideas with other users.
Your controls
You can export all of your data or permanently delete your account and everything in it from your settings at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
