How to share your X (Twitter) bookmarks

There's no share button on your bookmarks. X treats the list as strictly personal — no public bookmark pages, no "send my folder to a friend," no team bookmarks. If you've curated something worth showing a co-founder, a team, or an audience, you need a workaround. Here are the real ones.

Share individual posts (the built-in non-answer)

Every bookmarked post can be shared individually — copy link, DM, whatever. For one or two saves that's fine. For a curated set it means sending someone a wall of links with no structure, and the recipient gets no context about why each one mattered. It's the built-in option, and it's why everyone asks this question in the first place.

Build a shareable copy outside X

The honest manual route: copy your keepers into a doc, Notion page, or spreadsheet — link, one-line note on why it's there — and share THAT. You get structure, annotations, and access control, at the cost of assembling it by hand and updating it forever. A lighter in-app variant: recreate the collection as a list of posts you've publicly liked or reposted, but that trades your bookmark privacy for shareability post-by-post.

Share the output, not the pile

Often what you actually want to share isn't the bookmarks — it's the conclusion they support: "here's the opportunity I keep seeing." IdeaCoach turns the pile into that shareable artifact: sync your saves and it produces a ranked business idea with reasoning, next steps, and tools — a one-pager conclusion you can put in front of a co-founder, instead of 80 links they'll never read. The bookmarks stay private; the insight travels.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make my X bookmarks public?

No — there's no public-bookmarks setting. The closest native behaviors are likes and reposts, which are public by default but change what your saves signal.

Can a team share one bookmarks list?

Not natively. Teams either share an account (bad practice) or maintain an external collection (doc/Notion/spreadsheet) that members add to manually.

Does IdeaCoach make my bookmarks visible to others?

No. Synced bookmarks are private to your account. What you choose to share is the idea output it generates, on your own terms.
